Community Support Incorporated is periodically reviewed by independent surveyors to confirm CSI operates in accordance with the Service Excellence Framework of the Department of Human Services, and complies with the National Disability Service Standards.
Service Excellence Framework
The Service Excellence Program is a joint initiative of the Department for Families and Communities and the Department of Health. It provides organisations with an opportunity to maintain high standards and achieve better outcomes and it is a continuous improvement process, which looks at all facets of our organisation.
CSI has currently attained the Certificate Award Level of Service Excellence. The Service Excellence Framework reflects contemporary quality management models, inspection frameworks and accreditation systems and has eight key criteria:
1. Planning
2. Governance
3. Financial and Contract Management
4. People
5. Partnerships
6. Communication
7. Service Outcomes
8. Consumer Outcomes
The Recognition Ceremony was held at the South Australian Art Gallery on 8th July, 2009. At the Ceremony, the Hon. Jennifer Rankine, Minister for Disability presented the CSI Board Chairman with the Certificate and a CSI staff person with the award for Service Excellence Star.
