Marc Sodomka
Marc is the General Manager, Corporate Services and is experienced in managing corporate services teams within Local Government, Not for Profit, Corporate & Professional Services organisations.
Prior to joining Community Support, Marc was the Chief Operating Officer at Bentleys SA, a mid-tier accounting firm overseeing all Operations, Information Technology, People & Culture, Finance, Administration, Marketing & Business Development, Risk Management & Corporate Governance teams. Prior to that he was the Finance Manager at Port Adelaide Enfield Council where he was responsible for finance, budgeting & long-term financial planning, property & rating and commercial valuations. During his stint at Council, he became the Acting Director of Corporate Services where he gained additional exposure to the Elected Members.
Marc has over 20 years of finance and accounting experience where he is able to leverage his background in information technology to streamline & simplify processes, and has a keen interest in developing meaningful KPI dashboard reporting. He is also seasoned in developing and executing strategic plans that incorporate both risk management and corporate governance. He believes in providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders and is a firm advocate to building strong relationships through consultation and collaboration.
Marc is a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA), holds a Specialist Accreditation in Information Technology from CPA Australia, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course (GAICD).
Qualifications: FCPA, GAICD, Specialist Accreditation in IT, B.Com, Assoc Dip Accounting.
