Community Support Incorporated is excited to have access to the Australian Red Cross First Aid App. The app is simple to use, free and could save a life. The official Australian Red Cross First Aid app gives you instant access to the information you need to know to handle the most common first aid emergencies. Interactive and simple step-by-step advice means it’s never been easier to know first aid.
The First Aid app (Version 3.9.0) can be downloaded to your phone (for IOS or ANDROID). The APP features up to date CPR and First Aid guidelines as set out by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC).
To ensure your app content is available at the time of an emergency, please open the app upon installation so the app can retrieve all relevant local content before the need strikes.
The App contains a series of written text and videos which will complement the following:
- First Aid training knowledge
- First Aid Treatment
- Support your knowledge in conditions requiring First Aid treatments on the road and in the clients home if required.
We encourage staff to download the app (if able) to your phone, and share and promote the app with your clients, families and colleagues. *NOTE that clients may have specific treatment criteria pertaining to their individual condition
