Client and Worker Matching
We work closely with you and your family to collect the information we need to match you to one, or a team of our trained, qualified and dedicated Support Workers. We aim to provide you with Support Workers who have the experience, skills and attributes to match your needs, meet your requirements and help you to achieve your goals.
One of our trained and professional co-ordination staff will visit you to introduce your worker at the start of your service and when new workers are allocated to your support team. They will work closely with you to ensure your safety and that of the Support Workers is maintained when your service is being provided.
How we work with you
Service design support
Our Client Engagement Team help you design the services that will best meet your needs, goals and aspirations.
Every person we support has a dedicated Client Services Coordinator who helps you with any questions that you may have with all aspects of your support.
Every person has different needs and different goals they would like to achieve. Our team will help you to develop a plan of supports as specified by you and explain how we will deliver that support so you know what to expect.
Specialist Scheduling team
Individual’s needs change and the times and days of support sometimes need to change also. Our specialist Scheduling and Service Design Team is always contactable to make changes to your support schedule as required.
Dedicated Support Workers
We work closely with you, your family and/or your funder to collect the information we need to match you to our team of trained, qualified and dedicated Support Workers.
You will never be supported by a stranger. Our team will introduce your Support Worker at the start of your service and when new Support Workers are allocated to your support team, you will meet them too.
Our model of service delivery allows us to employ over 500 Support Workers across South Australia. This means we can provide services across the metropolitan and most of the regional areas of the state.
Safety and security
Our experienced team will work closely with you to ensure your safety and the safety of your Support Workers.
Sometimes clients would like to bring across a person from their existing networks to become an employee of Community Support and provide specific services to them. We will work with you to help you achieve this where possible, as long as the person is qualified and trained as per NDIS or My Aged Care requirements and satisfies Community Support’s recruitment policies and procedures. Where this is not possible, we will try and match one of our current staff who fits your needs.
Our service can support you wherever you go – medical visits, the shops, day trips, swimming, dancing, to the gym, to the pub, to meetings, to work, on holidays. The list of things that we can support you with is endless. All we need is your consent and the agreement of who is funding your service.
Our services can be provided 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We are the only provider who will provide 1 hour supports if required.
