Far North – Manual Handling for Support Workers

3 hour refresher

This course covers safety in terms of transferring and mobility and with use of hoists and other aids.

Key competencies within this course include gaining theoretical knowledge and practical skills involved with manual handling, along with having recognition of the risks associated with unsafe practices involved in manual handling.
